Readjusting to a normal life is a lot easier than she thought it would be. Even though she misses memorizing lines and getting into character sometimes, nobody can dispute that curling up with a good book and a warm mug of hot chocolate beats anxiously sitting by a phone and waiting for a call that would decide where your career goes next. The normal-as-it-gets life she’s offered at Safening is proving to be quite cozy for Jessamine, maybe a little too cozy. You can’t get used to having any one thing for two long, especially if that thing could be ripped from your clutches any second.
